Flooring Supplies Direct is run by a team of over 40 years of experience in the flooring industry, and is the online sales branch of the long established Winton Flooring Ltd, based in Manchester.
Coming from a physical, walk-in shop in the North West, Winton has expanded its operations to supply flooring and accessories across the UK.
The range of products available covers various types of flooring, including polyflor safety flooring and sheet vinyl, and primers, membranes and accessories for all your flooring needs. In more detail, here’s every type of product available to purchase from Flooring Supplies Direct:
Sheet Vinyl Flooring
Vinyl Flooring is a cheap and easy way to make your home or business premises look great. Vinyl Flooring can give off the effect of real wood flooring, real tiles or any other pattern, for a much lower price. Our range of sheet vinyl comes from Polyflor, and we stock a wide selection of coloured patterns and styles.
The Polyflor Forest FX range is a great solution for giving your floor a highly realistic wood design, with varied shades and styles including oak, mahogany, walnut, deckwood and timber all available.
The Polyflor Classic Mystique range opts for uncomplicated, duotone chip designs in 16 colours. From the standout red of Sunblaze and the bright green of Wildmint, to the faded blue of Ladoga and the subtle beige of Satinwood, there’s a range of colours to suit any project.
Polyflor Mystique is a similar range to the classic, again featuring a duotone chip decoration, but also a small number of non-tonal highlight chips. There’s also a similar range of colours – brighter, stand-out designs such as Giallo and Corallo, and more faded, subtle styles like Bianco and Ambra.
The Polyflor Pearlazzo range is much more unique than the Mystique offerings, going for more stand-out multi-flake decoration, rather than chips. This range includes 24 colours, both pale and neutral to brighter and intense.
The Polyflor Prestige range is one of the more sophisticated styles in our selection of sheet vinyl flooring. Duotone base chips blend perfectly with tonal highlight chips, in classy colours such as Peppermint, Stone Blue and Lavender Mist.
The Polyflor 2000 range is a high performance selection of vinyl flooring, designed in a marbleised style to create a sophisticated look. This range packs 20 colours, from subtle, pale shades to brighter, vibrant designs.
Finally, the Polyflor Standard XL is a range of six coloured floors, both hard wearing and practical. This is available in Blackcherry, Mushroom, Black Panther, Graphite, Atlantic Blue, and Slate Grey.
Polyflor Safety Flooring
Safety flooring is coated in a non-slip solution, that makes it suitable to be placed in wet areas, both in the home and commercial premises. Rooms such as bathrooms, kitchens, clinical areas and changing rooms can all be open to people slipping, but Polyflor safety flooring helps to increase safety and reduce accidents.
Within this range are varied products with different designs suitable for different situations. The Polysafe Hydro is designed as a raised emboss safety flooring, suitable for those barefoot in continually wet areas and available in eight colours.
Other ranges vary purely in visual design, such as the Polysafe Mosaic, the Polysafe Astral PUR and the Polysafe Wood FX PUR.
Altro Safety Flooring
Altro Safety Flooring is another range of safe, non-slip coated vinyl solutions, for similar situations to the Polyflor range.
There are various ranges within this category, all boasting different high quality designs.
The Altro Wood Safety range has styles including walnut, oak and maple. Other ranges are stocked, including the Altro Aquarius, Altro Pisces, Altro Reliance 25, Altro Walkway 20 and Xpresslay Plus.
Vinyl Tiles
Our range of Vinyl Tiles are designed by Polyflor, who have created hard wearing, good quality marbled design tiles.
XL, 2000, and Mystique ranges of Vinyl tiles all come with a PU coating, that increases the ease of cleaning and maintain the floor. The selection also boasts the XL Standard, Classic Mystique and Prestige ranges.
Polyflor Luxury Vinyl Tiles
One of the most premium selections at Flooring Supplies Direct is the Polyflor Luxury Vinyl Tiles. Gone are the marble and chip patterns, instead replaced by highly authentic and creative floor styles.
There are several wood flooring ranges in this selection, including the beautiful Polyflor Expona Bevel Line Wood, as well as Colonia Wood, Camaro Wood, Commercial Wood, Expona Control PUR Wood, Expona Design Wood, and Camaro LOC PU Wood.
As well as wood effect flooring, Polyflor have created a selection of stunning stone style tiles. Flooring Supplies stocks a good number of the varied tile ranges, in different shades and styles.
Carpet Tiles
Flooring Supplies Direct boasts a huge range of carpet tiles. We’ve got several ranges of high quality CFS carpet tiles, including the stunning New Mythology line, as well as New Chinook, Formation, New Tornado, New Typhoon and Precision II.
We’ve also got great carpet tiles from InterfaceFLOR, such as the sophisticated Huega 725 range, New Horizons II, Transformation, Composure, Duet, Yuton 104/105, Sirocco, Workspace Loop, Strobe, Sirocco Stripe, Codec, Furian and Neutron.
Finally, we supply the simple but effective and efficient carpet tiles from Burmatex, with our current range including the Academy, Cordiale, Tivoli, Infinity and Rialto lines.
Lavish Lawns
Our range of flooring supplies isn’t limited to the indoors. Step outside and enjoy summer with the CFS Lavish Lawns range.
This new collection boasts some fantastic artificial grass carpet, both easy to maintain and realistic looking. It’s currently available to purchase in one of four styles – Spring, Plush, Flourish and Majestic.
Noppe Stud Tiles
Our final category of flooring tiles is the Noppe Stud Tiles range. These are a range of rubber stud tiles, hard wearing and designed for commercial environments.
These are currently available in 50x50cm tiles, 3mm thick and in 12 colours.
Dispatched in boxes filled with tiles for 5 square meters, the tile colours available are Black Coal, Antracite, Steel, Deep Blue, Limestone Green, Green Baize, Mercury, Warm Red, Orange, Cobalt, Cool Blue, and Sandstone.
Damp Proof Membranes, Adhesives, Primers & Screeds
As well as actual flooring material, we also stock the supplies needed to carry out flooring installations of all kinds.
A damp proof membrane is important in building, protecting floor installations from the residual moisture of a construction site, and the vapour from ground water. We stock the ARDEX damp proof membrane, which is walkable in six hours, adheres well with wet concrete, guarantees the early laying of all floor coverings, and is suitable for cement and sand screeds containing underfloor heating systems.
For fitting your flooring, it’s important to use the right adhesive. We stock a range of Ball Styccibond adhesives, including the F4 for carpet tiles, F46 for luxury vinyl tiles, F44 for vinyl tiles, vinyl sheet, and vinyl safety flooring, and F58 for rubber tiles.
A flooring primer is used to ensure a good bond between a substrate and levelling compound/tile adhesive. At Flooring Supplies Direct we stock the Ardex P82 Epoxy Primer, and the Ardex P51 Primer.
Finally, a screed is used to produce a smooth flat surface to lay flooring on. Our range of screeds includes the Ardex RS Plus Latex Screed, the Ardex Feather Finish, the Arde A45 Repair Mortar, the Arditex NA Latex, theArditex CL and granite chippings.
Accessories

We stock a range of door plates for carpets, carpet tiles, and linos, in both silver and gold.
We’ve also got nails for any type of job that may need them, with our stock currently made up of 25mm ring shank nails.
Plyboard is another important accessory in the flooring industry, with Flooring Supplies selling sheet plyboard in two sizes.
For stairs, we’ve got various Gradus aluminium stair nosings, available square, bull nose or raked back, all either single or double channel. We also stock Gradus cove former and capping strips.
To help you complete your flooring job, we stock tools such as screeding trowels and adhesive trowels. We also have a range of silicone sealants from Evo Stik.
We’ve also got accessories made specifically for luxury vinyl, including feature strips, grouting strips, marquetry strips and camaro loc underlay. The strips can add authenticity and detail to the flooring, to give the job that perfect finish.

All products are delivered across the UK, usually dispatched on a next day delivery from one of 17 nationwide distribution centres. Local customers also have the option of ‘click and collect’, and can pick their order up from our Manchester based shop.
